There's more to BS6173 than just fitting an interlock to the ventilation system, your clients should be made aware of their responsibilities under the regulations as regards suitable fresh air make up etc. it may be that "opening a few doors and windows" isn't enough to facilitate the safe use of a class B appliance. Make your customers aware that correctly carried out risk assessments may be required. The result of which may be that mechanical (interlocked) fresh air make up fans be installed to ensure the safe use of such an appliance.

Regulation 27 (4): No person shall install a power operated flue system for a gas appliance unless it safely prevents the operation of the appliance if the draught fails.

In return for potential sales leads we would hope that by non-contracted mutual agreement you would use our products should you be successful on these projects.
Where practicable no more than one partner will be adopted within a 50 mile radius of another.
